First off, no hate to any of these accounts mentioned in the screenshots. I love them, so that’s why they are being called out. There seems over the last 24 hours in the community to be a push for people to join BlueSky. It almost sounds like they are being paid, but more likely one of them got an account and handed out invites to each other. A gated community being rolled out like Google+ is the wrong direction. If you still have a Twitter account, let them know you want them here

@schizanon That's good to hear. It's great to have a good story to keep you motivated and playing.

I'm sure I will end up playing them all eventually, but I purchased part 2 last night and installed it. I have been fiddling around with the controls trying to get them to my liking on the steam deck.

So far I am really enjoying it though. It's also nice to hear that there is still some love for the first game.

@arstechnica I'm going to miss Infinity.

It was on F-Droid and the only way I could tolerate browsing Reddit. They appear to be trying to stick it out and moving to a paid model.

I wish them luck, but it will no longer be available on F-Droid and that is one of the main things that originally drew me to it.

I went to a video game convention one time. They had a booth that was holding a video game quiz and if you won you could pick a prize from the table.

I won and I remember me narrowing my prize choices to Alpha Protocol on the 360 and this game. I went ahead and chose this one and loved it!

I always hear great things about Alpha Protocol, but still have yet to snag a copy of that one...

@OutofPrintArchive I've been wondering the same thing about the Wii.

Other than some of the RPGs, most of the games are dirt cheap. Even exclusives like Zack and Wiki that can't be played anywhere else. It certainly is odd that prices havent inflated.

And yeah, I have heard the same things about Alpha Protocol. I've heard it's a bit janky and has some rough edges but if one can get past that, there's a great game underneath.

Still haven't put the new fuel pump on the yet. I figured out what that weird patch wire was for, it's a bypass. There's probably a short somewhere in the original loom and instead of fixing it they drilled a hole in the firewall and ran a new wire directly to the fuel pump. There's even a twist at the fuse block for a cutoff switch. 🙄

@schizanon I can get by mechanically speaking, but I can't troubleshoot electrical issues worth a damn.

Fortunately I'm lucky enough to have a friend who is pretty good at electrical work.

I wish you the best of luck. My buddy lives by his test light, so hopefully that will do the trick.

I wish they hadn't killed HeroScape :( There was a crowdfunding campaign for a publisher to make more of it last year, but they didn't meet the quota. It was my first war game. @EposVox This game was great!

I didn't get to play it as much as I wanted, but I loved it every time I played it. I bought the base set in the store and a few of the expansions.

Years later I was at a garage sale and happened upon a tote filled with a bunch of the expansions. It had tons of characters and land tiles. It was a heck of a deal so I now have a decent collection.

I just wish I could play it more often.

that I bought groceries at but I needed a ride home so they have me a ride in a . The pilot took off so fast I woke up but then I went back to sleep and kept about it which is rare. We dropped off another customer at a hospital on top of a mountain first and then I got to it. It was harder than my regular dreams, but safer since it kept bouncing off of things.

Today's session of taught me that Gaol is an old English spelling of the word jail. 🧐

I was convinced it was a translation spelling error until I looked it up. I've seen various Old English words throughout my life but never this one.

I highly recommend them if they interest you. Bitmap books in particular are a fantastic company.

@OutofPrintArchive The only Street Fighter series that I've ever really enjoyed was Alpha/ Zero.

I'm not sure if that's because it's the only one that's ever really clicked with me or if the phenomenal Saturn ports just won me over. Perhaps both...

@dgar There is something here that has the potential to be amazing, but it's not quite there.

I feel like this is a ''neo staircase ramp'' prototype.😂

There is certainly room for improvement as far as functionality is concerned, but I really like what it is trying to do.

In 2015 the first wolf entered the Netherlands. For more than a hundred years there were no wolves due to hunting them all down. But in 2019 the first cubs were born here and since then we’ve had multiple packs staying and growing.

Wildlife is rebalancing, not just other animals, but also plant life.

It’s the best thing that has happened to our local nature in the last decade.

@alastor8472 I took my kids camping last week. It felt so good to get away from the city and just be out in nature for a few days.

All the wildlife around us, just doing it's thing. We saw a river otter swim by our campsite, squirrels were leaping around in the treetops and as we were sleeping we woke to an owl hooting in a nearby tree. It was Bliss.

Glad to hear the wolves are slowly repopulating over there. Its things like this that give me a glimmer of hope for the future.

I’m completely baffled by the “15-minute city” conspiracy. It’s so strange to me how people can take the most innocuous concept (or in this case GOOD concept) and twist it into some imaginary government plot for controlling and surveilling people’s lives. (1/9)
