In the Pelican Nebula, the Cygnoids call a peace conference to announce a non-optional solution: obey them or be subjected to the unthinkable agony of their new weapon, the Civilizer.

    I rarely reread, because there are so many more books on my TBR that I haven't gotten to yet. So when I'm done with a book, I either pass it along to a friend or the local used bookstore.

    Does your MC or SC have any idiosyncrasies?

    —Two that I know about. I walk. Not as in "I love walking in the forests". No. I simply start walking until I notice I'm doing it and go back to where I was. I have zero idea why I do it. And I change the order of sayings when I tell them to someone. "Better never than late", or "don't feed the hand that bites you", for example. One doctor told my parents it wasn't something to worry about. That I was just crazy. Ha!
