Original day off plan for afternoon film postponed, as I realised there was a screening perfectly timed for after work tomorrow, so instead stroll to local, a pint of Jarl, and get on with reading in preparation for Cymera Festival chairing duties.

I've not chaired a gig since before my surgery a few months back, now I have three author events within a month of one another to prep for. Lot of work, but also a lot of fun!

Felt very tired last night, and still feel it today after long sleep. Obviously just being out for a wee while with dad yesterday, then travelling back to Edinburgh took more out of me than I'm up to at the moment

I thought I'd misremembered the season 3 finale on my Babylon 5 marathon, then realised I'd missed a disc because of the way they are stacked in the box set.

Now on final disc, which means I still hve that that amazing cliffhanger finale to come, the White Star burning from rapid re-entry, coming down on Z'Ha'dum like a flaming sword.

Call the line, oh, some people under that age get it if their doctor flagged them with pre-existing condition. I don't have one, I am going for surgery tomorrow but that's not related to this at all.

Watching a history channel on YouTube that I like, but second recent video where the American presenter has used "English" or "England" when actually referring to Britain. Grrrrrrr.

I know a lot of Americans do this for some reason (so do a lot of French, sadly), and they aren't doing deliberately to be insulting, but ye gods, it is incredibly insulting (as well as factually wrong) to the other nations that are part of the UK. Just stop it.
