More monospace/terminal/programming fonts REALLY need to have connected underscores. :/

Is there a unicode symbol that displays a completely connected underscore on most fonts? I haven't been able to find one. I'm using JetBrains Mono NerdFont

P.S. I found that " ͟" seems to work well. It's U+035F "Combining Double Macron Below"

I was surprised to find this in my mailbox this morning, as I had forgotten about ordering it.
I was pining for physical keyboards last week, and wishing I had bought a Blackberry when they were cheap AND still usable.

Unfortunately, the experience with this one was just bad. The keys are mushy, and there's no autocorrect when using BT keyboard (or maybe there is and I have to find out where to turn it on)

Maybe I should buy a used Blackberry, just to see what they were like.

Ok, that's weird. I have two different sizes of cursors depending on what part of the window it's hovering over (kwin_wayland).

And there are no XWayland windows open, which I made sure of by killing XWayland

If anyone's bought a @PINE64 #Pinecil, how fast is the shipping to the U.S.? Also, will it work with a 15W charger (I'm ok with it taking longer to heat up), or do you really need 65W?

I'm getting some poor conductivity with my old iron. Some tinning compound might do the trick, but I think I definitely need to upgrade to something better.

What in the world is wrong with this machine?

Something as simple as syncthing running, an apt upgrade, or even just doing a dd of a gigabyte from /dev/zero to a junk file can cause the system load to scream up to 10 (quad-core system), and it starts freezing.

Do I have a dodgy SSD???

Update 1: I am using full disk encryption (LUKS)

I loaded up #NewPipe on my dinky tablet with the setup I had before November 2022, when I purged all Youtube channels from my NewPipe setup on my phone, and went #PeerTube-only.

I was expecting to see all kinds of high-quality #YouTube content that I was missing.

EGAD NO!!!

My old feed is full of just nonsense! Silly things people do for attention (even when they're talented and artsy), random clips that I just don't need, just tons and tons of wasted time.

So, my mom is legally blind. She gets to read an unlimited number of audiobooks through the library of congress.
Since she hasn't really adapted to using her ifoney in "blind mode," she does what she can based on shapes, colors, and memories, but needs help with anything involving text.

Ok, the way the search/launcher menu on #KDE #Plasma highlights an item in random as you're typing a search query (instead of highlighting the top item) so that it often opens a random file instead of the most likely match drives me NUTS.

I should just use #KRunner more often, as it doesn't seem to have that quirk.

I wonder if #Plasma6 fixes that.
