    @researchbuzz I refer to my wife as my girlfriend (which is also true). One day at work, I bought flowers & took them back to the office. My secretary asked who the flowers were for & I responded "my girlfriend". She gasped! & Said, but you're married! I tried explaining that my girlfriend & wife are the same lucky lady, but my secretary was having none of it. She was mad for weeks thinking I was doing something that I wasn't.

    I just got let through passport control without having to show my passport to anyone - just a face scan at the global entry kiosk. Didn't have to remove my mask for the officer and the only thing he asked me was my name.

    @ryanc Just like Santa Claus. They know where you have been, where you are going & who & what you meet/did at both locations. The name is just a formality. Had the same experience arriving at Houston IAH recently. Never asked for my passport or a customs declaration. Looked at a camera & then waived through & on my way in mere minutes.

    I recently read or heard about a "britisch" smallish production company which got scammed (AFAIR) around 50000 pounds.

    If I recall it right it was some kind of CEO scam. What was different about this case was that the owner talked openly about the scam.

    Sadly I can't find anything about this. Therefore here my call for help.
