@anneapplebaum Russia and Georgia fought in 2008. the outcome:"Russia recognised the independence of Abkhazia and South Ossetia from Georgia on 26 August and the Georgian government severed diplomatic relations with Russia.". I could be wrong, but I do not see Russia coming back for a bite of that apple anytime soon. Not to mention the resources needed. 2008 was considered the first European 21st century war, and the first cyber war. I remember it well.

@flexghost I believe it is actually a request from the DEA that Biden, if he is true to form - will not approve. I expect this story to go away, quietly. Also, I believe there will be blowback from Congress. Biden himself cannot legalize marijuana. Any directive by him will end with his administration.

@tomiahonen @marcelias We will see. States decide who goes on their ballot. I believe there has already been one attempt, to take him off the ballot which was defeated. We could see a rash of Supreme Court cases. The problem is also preventing these extensive measure used against Trump (3 investigations, 1 impeachment) from polluting future elections, future presidents. Like police state powers, once given they are never returned.
