Busy morning!

Ordered the school uniform, next week’s meal plans, shopping for said meal plans, school uniform supplier for logo jumpers, bought all the end of year thank you cards & pressies for school / beavers / cubs / wraparound care!

This year school teachers & TAs are getting book tokens.

Always figured consumables or tokens are better than helping fill a cupboard of ‘best teacher’ mugs etc.

Downside is, there are 2 teachers & 2 TAs in youngest’s class so more expensive than usual!

@hobbitswife I think my eldest has Blazer and PE shirt that's like a football top and that's it.

Luckily my youngest goes to SEN school so he's happy in Primark tracky bottoms and t-shirt. If we'd let him, he'd go in his all in one fluffy pyjamas that don't fit him. 😆

@colehaddon Fantastic piece, thank you. I first became aware of this style of hatred from an idiot calling himself Doomcock.

I didn't know what to make of it at first but once he started bad mouthing Kennedy I switched off.

Then I looked at a page of his YouTube thumbnails. Christ. It's like a cult. Everything related to Lucasfilm was apparently ruined because it had been touched by Kennedy. He also attached other franchises as well such as Trek and LotR.

@thunderbird I can't remember when I first started using Thunderbird but I've tried the rest and always end up coming back.

For me, it's always loaded the fastest and gets the job done. I especially love the way I can organise my emails and transfer them between accounts, having them organised the way I want it.

New pickup.
This one got discounted to €30, so I couldn't resist.

At face value, this looks like another run of the mill war type game. And to a certain extent it probably is.
But it plays so very differently from the others, that it becomes a lot more enjoyable, at least to me.

Learning enemies positions and behaviours, vantage points, short cuts and such. Taking risky shots and getting away with it, setting up traps. So much fun.

@OutofPrintArchive I loved that game on ps5 for the majority. I think I got so bored of sniping on the last level, I just went in, machine gun blazing!
I tried the third game on switch but it the enemy wasn't intelligent enough and I think that spoilt it somewhat.

My first air fryer quick recipe. Pork sausage rolls but with wraps rather than pastry.

Hopefully better than the triple cook chips I tried yesterday that almost came out triple burnt.

All four Indiana Jones films will be available on Disney+ from May 31st.
I know it gets a lot of hate, but the new colour grading on the 4K edition of Crystal Skull makes the film look a lot better. (That's assuming Disney+ use that transfer)

@OutofPrintArchive That was one of the best looking racers on the Dreamcast. I remember being amazed when I saw the little details like the brake discs glowing red when the cars braked for corners.

@thevglibrary Excuse me but I bloody love The Dig! I remember playing the demo and loving it! Buying the big box game, the novel and finding the soundtrack CD at a music fair.

I was so intrigued by the whole idea it was a Speilberg film that was deemed too expensive and so it was changed to a computer game.

I feel it's one of LucasArts lesser loved titles.
