A story about my mom and Trump.

My mom was an executive assistant for two Jewish brothers who ran a construction company in the '80s. They were in competition with Trump on some real estate deal and lost out to him. For some reason they had to make a pilgrimage to Trump Tower to go on bended knee. When one of the brothers introduced mom, Trump his usual graceful manner said, “Which one of these two Jews did you have fuck to get your job?”.

Not-so-bold prediction for today...NOTHING will happen to Trump for his 11 (and counting) violations of the gag order.

Anyone else would already be in jail right now for it, but somehow that doesn't apply to citizen Trump. Until he's treated like any other defendant, I never want to hear any pundit on cable news panel shows say, "no one is above law".

This is an alert from the early warning system for teenage boys and young men in Alabama.

The Alabama SC ruled that embryos are people, thus, comes under the criminality of their strict abortion laws.

This rationale, taken to its logical conclusion, will eventually lead to a ruling that sperm cells are pre-people and masturbation will be considered murder.

Here's my prediction on the Trump trial today...

Trump's lawyers will appeal for a dismissal because of the crisis building with Iran and Israel. Since Trump might become president, he shouldn't be distracted with this trial so he can focus on how to resolve the crisis once he takes office and save the world, because he alone is the only one who can do it!

So we had this gaggle of lawmakers come to Trump's trial today to debase themselves and their office to do Trump's bidding in attacking Cohen, the judge and the jury on social media...and they expect everyone to believe they did this all on their own. Right. My question is, who paid for their travel, hotel, meals, etc.? Love to see an audit on that. Or, I wonder if they were stupid enough to believe Trump would reimburse them.

I haven't heard yet just what the deadline is for Trump to pay the fine or have it posted in escrow. My guess is, he won't/can't pay it and dare the judicial system to do something about it. If so, it'll be interesting to see just what they'll do and how fast. Trump's MO on everything regarding the courts is delay, delay, delay, so I'm expecting it to continue here.

Trump said he absolutely will make his tax returns public after the audit is done. Somehow, he never released them.

Trump said he absolutely will meet with Mueller for questioning in the investigation. Never did.

Trump said before every one of his trials that he WANTS to testify. He only did once, only because he was forced to.

Now he says he WANTS to debate Biden, any time, any where. How much you want to bet he'll use court dates as an excuse to duck any debate?

Everyone feared that there would Jan. 6 style riots if Trump was ever indicted, and when he finally was, there was nothing. That fear ebbed with each subsequent indictment, becoming a laughing stock that nothing ever happened, despite how much Trump begged his minions to take to the streets.
Now we have people fearing that if Trump is jailed for any reason, he'll use it for massive fund raising. I'm calling bullshit on that notion. Who's left to donate? That well is dry. There will be no riots.
