Abgesehen davon, dass ich TikTok nicht mag weil ich deren Zweck nicht einsehe, nutzen es sehr viele und vor allem sehr junge Menschen und dies auch kommerziell. Wie eben YouTube & Co. und eigentlich nicht viel anders aber auch als politische Propaganda eine Konkurenz zusätzlich.

If you want to move people to another operating system, then create the operating system so easy that even the dumbest person on the planet is able to use it.
Like me for example.

I have no single idea why my Linux systems on my desktop and laptop constantly commit suicide.
I treat my windows such as the Linux systems equally and I'm surprised that I barely never had to kill my windows Systems but my Linux machines die constantly. I can't work like that.

@chris im on workation with my friends, so several programs are open, mails, libre, Firefox 1:1 like my Windows machine. I have just been to the coffee machine, I came back and the entire laptop is frozen. I can't do a thing, and still nothing moves there.
I was in the middle of writing an mail and I just saved the table in libre office a few minutes before I got my coffee.

I never had that with the windows OS.

I really learned how to use the REISUB command in the past months because of that

    @grb090423 love how the EUROPEAN space agency is pushing for non European subscription services like the American Apple+.

    Would be great if ESA had the guts to push a release it in a paid European service.

    There goes my ESA money.... Straight into the US hands

    I know each country has their variety of streaming services but honestly Id be happy if the market is not only tied to apple, netflix and so on.
    In this case there could be great offers for a shared European steaming service with films, series and movies from all over Europe including its space agency.

    @grb090423 It would boost many European studios, artists in a big variety from music to cgi and so on. I have no clue why Europe is not into it. But you are right, I think there would be a lot of interest

    @phranck Seitdem ich vor einigen Jahren auf Induktion umgestiegen bin, will ich nichts anderes mehr. Essen wird blitzschnell warm, die Kochfläche bleibt danach nur noch minimal heiß und die Temperatur kann sehr schön konstant gehalten werden. Für mich gibts nichts anderes als Induktionskochfelder 😂 👍🏾

    @phranck Es ist für mich in der Küche die beste Anschaffung gewesen.
    Im Studiwohnheim gab's uralte Steinplatten. Von daher war der umstieg auf Induktion eine komplett andere Welt.
    Wenn ich koche, bleibe ich am kochfeld, weil vieles da blitzschnell geht 😂.

    Bumms hat das voll, da musste ich zu Beginn aufpassen, weil ich den Bumms erstmal gar nicht einschätzen konnte 😂

    @chris some keyboards are not suitable for anything, there are some keyboards that u like typing on and some I'd rather prefer gaming on rather than typing.
    As a little side project I consider to print a case and some connectors to my old laptop keyboard for anything I have to do on a raspberry pi/server or anything that temporarily needs a quick and simple direct input. I know I could buy a keyboard but that recycling project somehow got me 😅

    @EU_Commission me being a black, not even seeing a single note about the Terrors of Europe in africa.🥲 Like I mentioned at the buxeles post, euro pan history likes to remmeber what it likes to remember, but loves to forget what it likes to forget. Like the crimes in africa.

    How shall I "never forget" while I should forget about the others? That's not democratic.

    Urgh can't proceed watching the slim livestream because my system can't handle... Well actually I don't know what it can't handle. I barely run my big programs on Ubuntu since the system already can't even run them.
    Aight, so it's just browsing and some instant messaging.

    Meanwhile my windows machine slams all 3500 open Tabs, Cura, Ready or not and much more.

    @aurochs @AimeeMaroux @antiquidons @phistorians Europeans have sadly completely lost their knowledge why the prepuce was super present on statues of acient Greece or in this example in Pompeji which is Italy.

    Traditionally the prepuce on statues in ancient Greece was a significant sign of fertility and of beauty. The prepuce showed that a man has a deeper feeling to his body and connects with nature.
    This (and even deeper meanings) meanings have sadly been completely wiped out in Europe.

    Wie siehts aus, wenn Personen in Deutschland sich in Deutschland Rassistisch äußern aber einen Migrationshintergrund haben?

    Ich habe hier im Fediverse oft nach antworten gefragt, habe aber nie welche bekommen. Ich wurde in meinem Leben Grundsätzlich von anderen Migranten "Racial Profiled" als "Nicht Deutsch" und ausschließlich auf meine Hautfarbe Reduziert.
    Das ist ja bereits institutioneller und gelebter Rassismus, wird da was gegen gemacht?
