Today is a special day for me and I think for all (s).
Sinevibes, a true innovator in the field of unique yet easy to use (s) (s), joins the family by releasing Integer, their new digital-analog buffer device, as their first native Linux plug-in. ๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿฅฐ
Get it here: https://www.sinevibes.com/integer/
PD: They created their first plug-in almost 20 years ago and were all in on Linux at the time. So in a way this is like "The Return to Linux"! ๐Ÿค“

This is one of the weirdest and most pathetic music related regulations I've ever heard of. Only music between 80-116 BPM is allowed. Sometimes conservatives really are the saddest bunch of pathetic losers in existence.

A few days ago we found out about Amigo. A sampler made by PotenzaDSP and Stekker that emulates the samplers from the 80s. It is
cheap and very good. You can pick it up here: https://potenzadsp.com/amigo/

FYI: We started with these kind of tools in the 80s!

@solidtrax Amazing find and for too! ๐Ÿค“

amadeus,
@amadeus@mstdn.social avatar

@solidtrax In the meantime you may have already heard that Sinevibes are coming to Linux Audio! ๐Ÿ˜œ Integer has already been released as a Linux native Plugin an hour or so ago:
https://www.sinevibes.com/integer/
So, who knows what might be possible next. ๐Ÿ˜‡

Have any of you users experience with VSTGUI in conjunction with Linux? https://github.com/steinbergmedia/vstgui
Can a who maintains Windows and macOS plug-ins with assume that Linux (s) should be farily easy to create?

I'm currently testing a bunch of plugins that I never dreamed would make it to . ๐Ÿซฃ๐Ÿ˜œ
Unfortunately, I have to keep quiet for now and it will probably take some time for them to be released, but I am more than excited. ๐Ÿ˜

It would be nice to have a car. But I don't see how it's worth it where I live. We have public transportation that works and the total cost of owning car is ridiculous.

amadeus,
@amadeus@mstdn.social avatar

@macberg I think the ultimate freedom would be to be self-sufficient, independent, just you and your body. But I guess it's probably not always quite that simple in our society. ๐Ÿค” I think a bicycle or, depending on the challenges in your life, a cargobike, can be a good compromise.
IMHO not too expensive, not useless and justifiable in terms of environmental impact as well.
If this resonates with you, let me know. I'll be happy to share my favorites with you. ๐Ÿ˜‡

I'm already looking forward to all the watermelon I'm planning to eat this summer. I usually never buy them because they're so big and heavy to carry from the store, but I've started ordering most things online now. Can't wait! ๐Ÿ‰๐Ÿ‰๐Ÿ‰๐Ÿ‰๐Ÿ‰

Love spending the morning โ€œentertainingโ€ (really, mediating between) the toddler and preschoolerโ€”successfully quelling various conflicts and breakdownsโ€”just to have the toddler inexplicably throw their entire weight into their hands, performing a surgical strike directly on my stomach organ when I wasnโ€™t looking. Now I get to be in pain and nauseous all day as a result!!

Kids are great.

(I love them so much but sometimes they drive me bonkers)

amadeus,

#workinprogress #roland #boutique #diy stand(s).
They are coming along quite well but are a bit steep at 45ยฐ.
And I have absolutely no idea why, but the threads I made (which are M5) do not fit either M5 (too big) or M6 (too small) screws, so I am thinking of glue as a possible "fix" for this. ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿซฃ

amadeus,
@amadeus@mstdn.social avatar

@f_dion Good question! ๐Ÿค” I think the internal thread cutter is from the USA, while the screws are from China. But honestly, I am not sure what the pitch of either is supposed to be. I just followed the M labels. The M6 screws won't go in, even with force, and the M5 ones just slide in.

amadeus,
@amadeus@mstdn.social avatar

@f_dion Really? Wow. I have one, actually. Will measure tomorrow. Thank you for your help! I thought that this part of the stands iwould be easier. ๐Ÿ™ƒ
