After a year and a half of use, today I came to the realization that I simply do not enjoy posting photography to Glass anymore. Too little interaction, too few people, too little community. So I said goodbye.

That leaves me with Pixelfed and Tumblr as the two platforms I use. I could do with one more. Not Instagram. Not Flickr. Not 500px or EyeEm. Is there really anywhere else?

Been using Spotify since 2006, but now that I have been using Apple Music for a couple of months I think there is no going back. What I love in Pandora and Apple Music is that I can just play my own Station that plays songs endlessly. Most of the time I don't know what to listen, I like to shuffle everything I might like without much thought.

Spotify concentrates on playlists and as a hard core music fanatic those playlists get easily worn out.

Apple Music and Pandora focus on finding new music and shuffling without limits. In Spotify you always have to have Playlist.

Been using various platforms and been trying out different ways to listen my whole life and thankfully all of these listens are combined to one profile at https://www.last.fm/user/rolle- - from @lastfm I can always find my songs.

I got into work today and someone immediately went "Oh, you're wearing contact lenses!"

When in fact... I had just forgotten my glasses. I'm that age now. I have glasses and leave them in places.

So now I have to have all my on-screen text REALLY BIG to be able to read it.

It's like using my parent's phone.

A TikTok showing what its like to open your parents phone: 100% Brightness, Candy Crush, MASSIVE FONT SIZE, 100s of Notifications.

I have reached the point where I'm almost certain I will buy a Brompton. But there is one question I just can't find an answer to. So help me out:

Is the seat post in any way fastened to the bike? Or can you just pull it all the way out?

That would make locking it in a high bike theft city like Oslo a rather nervy experience. And I really don't want to have to bring the seat post with me everywhere.

My account tells me it's only six weeks since I started using Pixelfed seriously. In that time I have come to love it.

The reach is unbelievable, helped by the fact that I can share it to my followers here. The possibility to share makes it an entirely different beast than Instagram. More like Tumblr, but centred on original photography.

There is so much good stuff on display. And as opposed to Ig, hashtags work the way they're supposed to.
