Good to see that the day after David Cameron, the man who gave us Brexit and austerity, returned to government the news is about 2 million UK households unqplugging fridges to save money, kids working Deliveroo, and UK to loosen post-Brexit chemical regulations further.

Is there an 11ty plugin that replicates the HTML outlining algorithm that will calculate & rewrite the 'real' heading levels of <h1>s etc nested in <sections> at build time?

Delighted to read that AudioEye has dropped its ludicrous lawsuit against @aardrian and "agreed to make a financial contribution of no less than $10,000 to National Federation for the Blind". Hopefully they will also send Adrian on a lovely 2 month holiday and pay for every punk gig he ever wants to attend (plus beers), to apologise. He's truly one of the best people in the accessibility world. https://adrianroselli.com/2024/01/audioeye-has-dropped-its-suit-against-me.html

German fascists held a meeting on Wednesday to discuss a “masterplan” for mass deportations to an unnamed state in northern Africa that would provide space for up to 2 million people, in the event of the party coming to power. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2024/jan/10/politicians-from-germany-afd-met-extremist-group-to-discuss-deportation-masterplan

How much battery does rendering your website require? "One fundamental problem that homeless and vulnerable people currently face is the issue of recharging their devices. Many homeless people put themselves in danger in order to access power for their devices, trespassing private property and using outdoor power sockets… This puts them at risk of altercations, violence, or even arrest." What's everyone using these days to manage their CSS, make sure it's hard to write clashing styles but reduced unused CSS on any given page? I prefer not BEM style convention-only things. Are CSS Layers + a convention good? Any 11ty-friendly build tools?

" We must hold CEOs accountable in the same way that we do their employees or dissolve the role entirely. A chief executive must meaningfully contribute in a way that is measurable and delivers clear value for the company.
