If someone comes to my site via a text fragment link eg /#:~:text=fooBar, how can I get the "fooBar" bit in JS?

Happy Solstice from the ancient chalk horse and me! (Stonehenge is just too touristy for me to properly align my chakras with the Age of Aquarius these days.) Boomshanka!

I'm no supporter of Sunak but I think -on balance- that he's actually trying to do the right thing (albeit, his idea of what that is greatly differs from mine). I'd retain some respect for him if he refused to dish out gongs to Johnson's lickspittle mates, given Bozo's disgrace and contempt of Commons.

I now regret telling Stable Diffusion to generate "Nigel Farage on all fours, with topless Vladimir Putin riding on his back, detailed, vivid, photo realistic"

Fact: it is 139.7 times better to build your apps with accessibility (keyboard navigable, good contrast, accessible names, etc) at the start than to add it later. I measured this precisely with my USB accessibility ruler and kazoo, wearing my Science Hat.

Dreadful news about that French chef who got depressed, just gave up, and died. Apparently he lost the huile d'olive.

I'm an agnostic, but I wouldn't bet against Paula Vennells, former Post Office CEO and Anglican priest, suddenly being struck down by a thunderbolt when she goes into the witness stand today.

I saw this in the sky. I researched it thoroughly, and a YouTube video (by MAGAnoVaxUSA88) proves it's flying 5G mast spreading chemtrails and shooting vaccines, owned by Soros, flying Jeffrey Epstein's assassin to Bill Gates' secret lair in the icewall at the edges of the earth.

I was asked by my boss to evaluate a couple of hosted content editors. One never answered my Qs about their accessibility. @cloudcannon asked me to speak to their team and explain some of the gaps, and they've really run with it. So this blog post about their efforts to up their accessibility really cheered my wizened shrivelled remnants of a heart. https://cloudcannon.com/blog/how-we-build-cloudcannon-for-accessibility/

I had filed Sunak as fundamentally decent, but occasionally mouthfarting nonsense to appease the brexitty loons. I didn't expect full fat fascism. Fuck this gang. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cpddxy9r4mdo

A nice stroll around the old town and a tasty stop at a Turkish home-cooking cafe in a residential area for some tea and a delicious gözleme (a thin savoury pancake folded, stuffed with feta cheese and then grilled).

We (@owa) are about to meet the EU to brief them about how In App Browsers can be user-hostile as they don't know cookies & other stuff stored in default browsers, and don't necessarily have the preferred accessibility settings/ features that users choose a default browser for.
