Opt out, not in. Likely because they company is run by sociopaths.
You might want to shut this off in your profile. If you know anyone who works in management at DoorDash, consider tossing them into your nearest black hole. #privacy
Of course he picked up on the act and sound of a laptop closing, and that could mean it’s playtime!
But he also now perks up at the sound of pressing the side button on my iPhone or iPad to mean the same thing. Doesn’t see it, only hears it, and that also could mean it’s go-time. 😄 #dogs
Who decided that all (gaming) PCs will have their clear panel on the left side forever, with no option for the right side, basically forcing you to keep your PC to your right if you have monkey brain and like looking at RGB stuff?
@chartier one notable thing about Macs is that they do not use the ATX standard or its derivatives, so they actually tend to be on the other side. Which is why if you put a GPU in a 2012 Mac Pro, for example, it's upside down.
Thought of something I’d like in #AppleMusic that I guess #AI could probably provide: Sometimes I want to play specific types or styles of music from an artist or genre.
Example: I really like Polyphia’s instrumental tracks, but I’m usually not into the collabs they do with vocalists. I like all of AJR’s music, but sometimes I only want to hear their songs that lean electronic or use samples.
Never mind the dumpster fire of a human being that is #ElonMusk, why on earth do people still buy anything from #Tesla?
We have years of evidence that the company is an absolute joke. Incompetence wrapped in hubris, thoroughly marinated with not just a lack of care, but unchecked disdain for its customers.
Setting aside the fact our tech has been getting smaller and thinner for decades so I don’t really understand this question, I think the larger benefit is weight.
As someone who has been using a 13” iPad Pro for ~ 80% of my daily work and play for years, every fraction of an ounce they can shed is welcome, especially since this device is designed to be held; it doesn’t just sit on a surface like a laptop.
@craiggrannell I used it handheld yesterday to read a quite long article. It isn’t a massive difference from my previous 12.9 M1, but it’s noticeable. Subtle, but welcome.
