@SuitedUpDev
Once I turned 60, and especially after I no longer had a job to go to, I ceased caring what anyone else thinks about my appearance. I mean that in a healthy way. I think that's true for most men my age, unless you're a narcissist. ๐คทโโ๏ธ
"Judge Howell, Politico reports, 'noted that [a] Trump adviser connected to his Save America PAC had acknowledged scanning the contents of the box that contained the classified materials in 2021 and storing them on a personal laptop provided by the PAC.โ โ

I know. And redundant, but we have laws about this that have been recently and instantly applied to other people (Iโm ex-Army, and held a secret clearance). ๐

Yeah. Hard NOPE! I have a single instance of Windows 10 running in a virtual machine. The ONLY reason I have it is to use the toy train track planning app (0 gauge) I purchased 15 years ago. That's it.
Obviously, don't tell me exactly where you live, no actual addresses please! You can be as vague as you like.
I live in Central Missouri in the U.S.
Pros:
This is an absolutely beautiful place, green rolling hills, lots of rivers, lakes, ponds, and natural springs, cool caves to explore.
Lots of farming here, so great access to quality fruits, vegetables, meat, eggs, and dairy.
It's relatively inexpensive to live here compared with other states, because it's a "flyover".
I'm close enough to three major cities, that it's an easy day trip, and I'm about halfway to anywhere in the U.S.
We have one of the best Conservation departments in the U.S. and this is one of the few things that is a bipartisan issue. Lots of awesome nature programs that are free or cheap, state parks, conservation areas, bird watching, hunting, boating, foraging available to everyone.
Cons:
Yeah, it's a big one, it is a RED STATE, while a lot of the cities are blue, there is a large rural population, that votes red. Abortion is not legal here. People often vote against their own self interest.
While I'm not against responsible gun ownership, lots of people aren't responsible, and people have access to guns that definitely should not.
We have very few employee protections here, while the cost of living is relatively low compared with other places, it's taken years to get to a $12 minimum wage, and it's still not enough.
Horrific. Police in Florida kill Roger Fortson, a U.S. Airman and 23-year-old Black man in his own home. The unidentified officer is on unpaid administrative leave and has not been charged with any crimes yet.

This ๐ฉ absolutely has to stop! โ
Once again, I almost commented on/tooted this story when it first came out, and held off because the story I read had VERY few facts.
Turns out my instincts were dead-on correct, again! My own resolution is to be much more vocal about these atrocities going forward: I regret my earlier hesitation. The pattern is too well established! ๐ข
For those losing their heads over today's actions by Judge Cannon, take a deep breath. This was always going to happen. The writing has been on the wall since Judge Cannon was drawn for the case. Getting all worked up about it is only going to make you crazy and desperate. The way we will rid ourselves of this menace is at the polls in November.
For a sober discussion on this topic this exchange today between @Teri_Kanefield and @JonChevreau is highly recommended:
