I've spent a good majority of the day moving 750GB of files out of my Google Drive over to my @protonprivacy drive.

I've quit using Google Chrome(long long time ago).
I've quit using Gmail.
I've quit using Google Drive.
I've quit using Google Keep.

The one thing that is just too damn good to quit using that Google makes is Google Photos.

While there are replacements, there's nothing that comes even remotely close to being as good as Google Photos in my opinion. Literally NOTHING!

Work/Career Update!

As many of you know, I have worked for @novalauncher for 8 1/2 years. When I was hired, I was done so as a contractor and remained a contractor the entire time. Then two years ago, Branch Metrics acquired Nova and while I made the transition over, I was still a contractor due to Branch not having things setup to hire full time employees in the state of North Carolina. @Bianca and I had an absolutely blast last night at the Winston Salem Hype Hens(Usually the Dash) game last night here in Winston Salem.

Winston Salem won the game 3 - 0 against the Asheville Tourists.

As you see, we even got to hang out with Bolt for a bit during the game!

Nova 8.0.16 has now been pushed to the Play Store STABLE release at a 30% rollout.

This means that if you are within that lucky 30% today, you will get the update from Nova 7.0.58 to Nova 8.0.16.

After 3 - 4 months of searching at every store possible, we were finally able to find the new Coffee Mate Dirty Soda online at Walmart, so we ordered it.

It arrived today and the wife and I decided to try it in Dr. Pepper, which it says is the best, and she tried it with Diet Coke.

The version with the Dr. Pepper came out the best, just as it did when we tried Sonic's version of Dirty Soda with Dr. Pepper, Diet Coke and sweet tea.

Definitely recommended!

Today was my first official pay-day as a full-time employee instead of a contractor that I've been for over 8 1/2 years.

It's so nice to get a real paycheck with taxes taken out, benefits taken out and all of that.

Sucks that the government takes so much damn money, but it's going to be much nicer come tax time when I have to file!

Not sure if I'm doing something wrong here, but I've noticed that with @statuzer I can only add one image at a time to a post. That means I have to add an image four times to get to the max of 4 images per post.

For me, it's work stuff and it's super, super busy due to the stable release of Nova. We're only at a 66% staged roll out, but I woke up to over 230 emails this morning and have received more than 200 new ones since.

I have a meeting at 12pm but that should be a nice break from the emails for a bit.

I am now about 5 hours into Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut on PC and absolutely enjoying the game so far.

The graphics are beyond amazing. The combat is super smooth and fights with enemies can be tough at times if you're not careful. I love the open world and being able to explore things on your own in a lot of ways. Definitely glad I picked this game up.

After only 57 1/2 hours of play time, I have beaten Horizon Forbidden West's main story.

I did do quite a bit of the side quests as well, but not all of them.

I've now unlocked the Burning Shores DLC which I'll jump into at some point soon.

Super fun game, just like the first one was. Glad to have completed it on PC.
