I just remembered (not sure how) a film I watched many years ago of a woman who inherits a house, I think located in the Florida Keys. This house houses a dark secret, her deranged sister who was kept chained in the attic, looked after by an aunt who (I believe) lived in a lighthouse

Does anyone know what the film was called? Please boost for greater coverage

In just a couple of hours (21:05 UK Time) will hit it's 1 year anniversary, which honestly looking back is something I wasn't sure we'd make it to for a while.

We've had a wild journey with some huge scaling issues at the start, both being at the time one of the few sites on the website that accepted registrations, being on the BBC news and various radio interviews, we went from 1 or 2 users to over 1k overnight and went onto over 50k in the first week.

@wild1145 congratulations, I didn't realise mastodonapp.uk was so young.

That being the case, I was one of the first Twitter immigrants to come on board, unfortunately, I was put off by the slowness and occassional unresponsiveness at that time, which I later realised wasn't your fault.

I now run my own instance

    I'm all for in images, but some people don't seem to understand what that means.

    If you're going to AltText an image, at least make it clear in that text what the image is actually showing, not just some random text to make you think you've done the right thing.

    Blind or partially sighted people rely on these additions

    @andypiper All sorts, weather bots, aircraft spotting bots, just about anything. Almost as many different instances as there are bots

    @jay ok, think I may have found something. There's some caching config in Nginx that may be the cause, won't know for a while

    @jay well, changing the nginx caching config didn't change anything, switching off caching didn't change anything

    Home timeline still has posts removed by something.

    Left with one 10m old post, when I click 'Load more' I get one more 30m old post

    I'm stumped

    @jay auto trimming?

    I do have some cron jobs, but they only run once a week to remove old media etc.

    Giving up on it, I've found if I hit 'Load more' enough times it goes back to normal for a while
