Recently I started to travel a lot again and I don't really have motivation and time for drawing practice.

Today though I managed to get some:
This time I was experimenting with quick sketch. Instead of really looking at proportions between shapes I started with one shape and based whole drawing on circles with specific ratios.

That's why the nose it too big :bongoCat: It's easy to get lost when you loose reference and try to go faster with #drawing #art #watercolor

I just did my first ever #drink in shaker. I call it: drink ojca Artura

Which means drink of Father Artur

1 shot of #vodka
2 shots of aloes water
Another shot of vodka
Shake it with ice

Pour it into glass and top with Ginger Ale 0 sugar sparkling water.

The global exploitation fashion retailer Zara has been forcing its employees to stand within a 50cm*50cm taped square their entire working shift e.g. unpacking clothes and demanding they ask permission to leave the square, are forced to stand working at the checkout cash register for 10 hours straight, have timed the staff's toilet needs demanding a reason for taking 1 minute too long at the toilet and the workers have been abused by the bosses for in one case e.g. being yelled at in front of the customers for wearing clothes the boss didn't like and then forced to change clothes, reports major newspaper Aftonbladet in Sweden.

"Sometimes it feels like a prison", explained a current employee.
"One is their slave", said an ex-employee.
"People get panic attacks. One sees people crying in the storage room", says another.
"The job at Zara is actually the worst thing I have ever experienced in my entire life. I had panic attacks at the toilet and cried in the mornings", told a fourth.

Zara's press-department wrote in response that they "didn't have a spokesperson available for interview". Suuure.

I may not be their target demographic, but I do of course 100% boycott Zara and so should you.

Today I decided not focus on anything particular and simply draw.

I can already see many issues. Proportions, hands, hair ... It's all missing key features. Still I think it's good to sometimes just draw for fun and not try hard it so much.

#pencil #sketch #naturalforms #face #drawing #art #fountainpen I think the worst part about learning anything is lack of progress. Something you just need to repeat stuff consciously for many times until it finally clicks in your head. What is important is to not do it mindlessly. Every time I draw and put my mind into it, everything seems to look better immediately. It's all about focus on shadows, light and #form.

For me, it still did not, but I think I'm on a right path. All I need is time.

A konkretnie to 2 zamaskowanych rozgoniło demokratów z rn/konf!

I think I made a big mistake by trying to put too many things on canvas that's too small.

The left watercolor paining focusses on too many things at the time. In next couple of drawings I'll try to isolate objects and watercolor them with details.

Right drawing was first done with #pencil and them finalized with #fountainpen I still try to figure out how to remove this #manga vibe from it. I want it to be more realistic and rich.

Extremely economical Chinese home cooking

• ‘dried goods’ last a really long time
• you can get normal quality (Chinese groceries) or splurge on super high quality (Chinatown ‘medical’ shops)
• you can make lots of different meals with the same set of things
• the water you use to soak mushrooms becomes a vegetarian stock you can use in anything

Today I’m soaking the stuff I need to cook my favorite ‘fuzhuk’ stew

Will probably live toot along later
