Hey @ivory, is there any way to triple tap or something to do a FULL CATCH-UP on a timeline? For example, if it’s been days since I updated the Local or Federated timelines, it takes multiple top-taps before I’m current again.

Ron DeSantis can't stop sounding like a murderous psychopath. Earlier this month, he was out there promising he’d be “slitting throats” from day one, which we can only hope means something as benignly awful as firing people.

Unfortunately, his unnecessarily violent rhetoric has taken a turn for the more literal, as he vows to use more lethal force against people at the southern border.

The show was incredible. It wasn’t as much music as it was an experience.

@juergen_hubert @germany @folklore Having Catholics and Calvinists in the same church service is never a good idea. 😂 You can tell that the story was written by a Catholic, since the devil was a Calvinist, who looked scary, but then did nothing but mumble before vanishing. 😂 What a great story!

In my dream scenario, Trump destroys the Republican party, the two major parties become Democrats and Progressives, who then spend all their time arguing about the best way to achieve universal healthcare, combat climate change, etc.

It sounds absurd, but also, why is it not already like this.

I wish the Mastodon server software would allow you to have more than four metadata links on your profile. I exist in many places, and it would be nice to show them all, especially as new sites start doing the rel="me” backlink verification thingy.

@mariyadelano I don’t get people posting shit on LinkedIn anyway, as if it were any other social network. Any time I get emails from LI saying, “Billy-bob shared his thoughts on…”, I think to myself, “yeah, I’m not reading that,” as I delete it. 😂

@eldamir @ivory It's not just Ivory. If I look at hachyderm.io (my home instance) through the web UI, it doesn't show custom emojis from other instances, either. I wish there were a way to get those synced.

    @timbray I installed it several months ago, and never once got around to trying it out. I finally unsubscribed from all the emails from them, telling me how great it is.
