This is my personal favorite song on the EP. I actually cried after doing the vocal take you're hearing (the "make it through" scream in the mix wasn't planned.)

I REALLY missed playing my #SteamDeck

I went down a pretty long and intense music production rabbit hole and came up for air this weekend, realizing "oh yea I love games."

And booting up the Deck made me remember just how effortless it is to enjoy video games, and how far some of the incredible tools (like EmuDeck) have come in such a short time.

This is also me proclaiming HELL YEA I'm gonna buy the OLED version.

Storytime: My 1st recording experience involved a Panasonic double cassette boombox and probably the shittiest built-in condenser mic possible 🤣

I sat in my mom's living room with my acoustic and recorded myself playing & singing. Then I slapped the tape into the "Play" deck, put a fresh blank into the "Record" deck, and played what I'd just recorded while noodling around with harmonies or extra riffs.

At the time, I thought I had achieved something pretty special with my homemade overdubbing!
