serious question: why do many (most?) people share 2 grammatical versions of their pronouns, like he/him, she/her, they/them?
Why choose these arbitrary ones, instead of only the first one, trusting people know how to decline them? Or use all declensions like he, his, him or they, their, them?
genuinely curious how this developed, since I was kind of late to the pronoun party.
@lex It may be that there are some genderfluid people for whom gender varies with case (he/her or she/him). Perhaps doing things and experiencing things others do are experienced in different genders for some, but this is only speculation on my part. I'm on team she/her.

@c0dec0dec0de@indivisibleteam@tjtreehugger2 They have something worse than a platform. They have a detailed game plan to hit the ground running, and probably some contingency plans.
I sometimes hear people say, they do not believe Russia is losing up to 1000 soldiers per day. I believe it, for I have seen hundreds of videos about how to uneducated soldiers of Russia fight.
In a recent video from the Ukrainian 47th Mechanized Brigade, a squad of Russian soldiers have been ordered to advance. But because of the dangers of mines, in all their wisdom they ride on top of their their armored vehicle over completely flat terrain, allowing Ukraine to see them from a mile away.

@tivasyk@randahl I find it hard to believe Russian troops are not well-trained. I thought dedovshchina was supposed to be the most intense training experience available anywhere.
@aral What grinds my gears is when ppl speak of tools like Privacy Badger "breaking" websites. I speak instead of the ways in which commercial websites break Privacy Badger.
