    Iโ€™ve noticed there are no
    open positions for entry-levels, juniors, or mid-levels in tech anymore.

    So my prediction for the future is
    that no new person can get hired in tech anymore. From now on, itโ€™s just seniors and leads and staffs and directors until they all get laid off and slowly replaced by AI.

    Then,
    it becomes AI software designed by AI, written by AI, moderated by AI, and consumed by AI, all the way up and down the production chain,
    forever.

    Humans run back into the woods,

    computerless,

    @josh Gotcha. Mine's currently a hodgepodge, and while I like having it all in one place the organization leaves me wanting more. Always curious to see how others do it.

    Headed to Manzanita on the Oregon Coast for Christmas. Brought with me a crate I picked up from an estate sale from a defunct warehouse. Started following the directions and I'm pretty sure we're summoning something. No chanting in Latin, but we did have to decipher a dead language using wax imprints, so you knowโ€ฆ

    New instance, new . I started on mastodon, but moved over to calckey for the extra features. Not wanting to be on one of the giant instances, I went for smaller, but had the bad luck of picking ones that shit down. So a few migrations later, I'm relocating here now.

    At any rate, I'm just a guy in the that likes going on adventures and , , and . I'm also into Games and , specifically / . While I've used off and on for the last couple of decades, I recently switched to and made that my daily driver. Online, I try to keep up on and local/national without being overwhelmed or depressed... which is not easy to do.
