I’ve now had 3 conversations about the nature of “trust” in the last 2 days. Lots of people think about it. But I still haven’t heard of a credible way society might restore much of it to journalism, broadcasting, government, and public interest missions and agendas of all kinds. I don’t think it’s impossible, but I do think it will be a fairly elite pursuit of a very small group of people for a very long time.

@shoq I don’t know what the plan is or what the answers are, but I suspect making it easier for the rich to lose their riches and the powerful to lose their power would help some.

I read this long Reddit workaround for how to remove a non-removable riving knife from a table saw. There were like 10 steps, 3 custom parts, and number other considerations. Israel is a powerful nuclear-armed nation. They are never going to abandon Israel, and will never accept any political solution as long as they are routinely attacked. And no one can force them to do otherwise. Qatar knows this, yet they continue to fund Hamas. They work both sides against the middle and the middle always loses.
