Wednesday: 10 minutes of Apple Fitness strength beginner strength training, 10 minutes of Yoga for beginners, followed by 160 seconds of plank, and the followed by 11.1 km of (-10°C with a windchill of -17°C).

The two workouts were nice and easy, and today I learned not to do plank right before going out for a run.

Especially a run in snowy conditions. What a mess out there. 😳

Big Day: I just put up my "NO MORE NEW FEATURES” sign for my iOS 17/watchOS 10 updates.

A little tradition I have where I draw a line in the sand and stop working on new features and instead to switch to solely polish and bug fixing in the run-up to a major release.

I find having a physical sign is super helpful to constantly remind me to stay on target and get this update properly finished.

CotEditor is definitely faster. But after years of usage - just out of sheer habit - I miss pink flower icon of Textmate in the dock 🙂

I've been listening to my "Discovery Station" on Apple Music for a couple of hours now and it has yet to play a song by an artist not in my library. Off albums not in my library, yes, but nothing I would consider new to me.

@film_girl @agiletortoise I listen to songs from 3 different Indian languages apart from English and algorithm surprisingly has picked that up and has recommended songs in all the languages. So far I have had good luck.

It's surprisingly difficult to find a cheap (< $30) set of BT over the ear headphones that work right on a Mac. I got one set like 5+ years ago and finally broke, have tried 4 diff ones so far and they are all annoyingly buggy, have bad battery life, or bad range.

I lost my Forma and looking for a replacement and my options are down to Sage and Libra 2.

Leaning towards Sage for 8 inch screen. Couple of questions -

  1. Are Sage battery issues as bad are they are made to be?

  2. Do page turn buttons on Sage work all the time?
