I’m just gonna say it — this “Genocide Joe” thing is the dumbest fucking liberal shit I have seen in years.

Joe Biden can do more to try to rein in Israel, but Biden doesn’t run Israel. He isn’t CIC for IDF. He isn’t deciding what hospital to bomb. He isn’t deciding what border crossings to close.

You know who is pushing the Genocide Joe narrative? The fucking Russians and the Israelis. Why is that? Well, it’s an election year, and Trump is a hard right, pro-Israel puppet.

Heck, the main reason we've still got Charles as the Head of State is because the Treaty of Waitangi was signed between the United Chiefs and the Crown, and there are concerns about what will happen if we change one of those parties.

There are people here who support Israel, but it is not even close to a majority position.

I'm not sure what your claim is, here. Are you somehow saying that Jews cannot immigrate to New Zealand?

...And we are anti-colonialist, we have a low opinion of England, and consider ourselves in the slow process of decolonising. It's not perfect, and there are plenty of bumps and setbacks, but we are working towards it.

18: What kind of dragon would your MC be?

The kind who studies for their PPL and instrument flight rating, never flies without an airband scanner, GPS, and transponder, and stays well out of controlled airspace. Also spends a lot of time looking over their shoulder nervously and tries not to fly through clouds in air traffic corridors.

Remember: there are old dragons, and bold dragons, but in the age of 250 ton jet airliners flying at 500 mph there are no old, bold dragons!

That's not the choice in front of you, the choice will be between someone who can't pull out of existing commitments, and the man that prompted the genocide (in part) by moving the US embassy to Jerusalem.

This war is partly Trump's fault. Biden is having a hard time cleaning up the mess, but it was Trump that s#@t on the floor in the first place.

By disengaging in the process, you are gifting your vote to your opponents.

This is a very specific question, but here goes:

People that have experienced language attrition of their native language, how difficult was it to relearn your language? And do you have any tips on how to overcome mental blocks and other challenges with it?

If you are learning a new language in general, which techniques work best for you that I can try?

Currently I speak my native language very poorly (about A2 level), but English pretty much fluently. I'm taking lessons and I know native fluent speakers IRL, but it really is a struggle.

@lazerdude this is a big thing in New Zealand. Te Reo Māori was banned and punished for years, it almost died out. It's recovering now, but many Maori have a complicated relationship with it

Any plan to address attendance at schools that fails to improve air quality is not serious, and will backfire.

These are facts.
Students, aides, and teachers are getting sick at school. Repeatedly and progressively worse.

Forcing sick kids to school does nothing to fix that.
It does a lot to worsen it.

Remember in Blues Brothers when they end up at the Nazi rally and the point isn't even that Jake really hates Nazis, it's that Nazis are about the biggest losers that anyone could imagine. They are portrayed as completely pathetic dead-ender assholes.

Or in the Rocketeer when the mobsters find our the Sinclair guy is a Nazi and join forces with the FBI to stop them because Nazis are clearly the worst thing.

Or when Christopher Plummer rips the Nazi flag in two in Sound of Music.

None of these films were making bold political statements. The Nazis were the bad guys because that was something that everyone in the audience could agree one. Dunking on Nazis was a guaranteed crowd pleaser.

When the hell did we stop agreeing on something so simple and self-evident as Nazis Are Fucking Losers?
