Eine Frage an #eltern
An alle die #games spielen und sich damit auskennen.
Mein Sohn ist fast 12 und möchte call of duty spielen.
Aber er hat #ADHS
Er darf #Minecraft und #Fortnite spielen, Handy hat er nicht.
Ich gebe ihm schon kein Handy, in der #Schule wird er immer wieder nach einem Handy gefragt.
Der Druck für #kids ist echt groß aber mit dem adhs muss er aufpassen und er tut mir immer leid das ich ihm alles verbiete.
Es ist sehr gut das man da inzwischen mehr darauf achtet damit die Kinder recht früh eine Diagnose erhalten.
Kurz nachdem wir im Kindergarten angefangen haben kam schon der Anruf ob ich nicht mal vorbeikommen kann um über ihn zu sprechen.
Aber die KITA war toll die haben sich so engagiert und auch später seine zuständige Ärztin.
Im Job später ist das mit Sicherheit sehr schwierig vor allem wenn man wie Du noch keine Diagnose hatte.

I just wanted to put a few things in the car and it starts to rain like crazy
15 minutes later the rain was gone and I was in the hospital with a nice laceration and a hell of a lot of blood
But hey...in the hospital then...briefly looked at and immediately taken to it

I actually falsely assumed, that the songs from the Three Penny Opera (Dreigroschenoper), like this one, Mack the Knife (Die Moritat von Mackie Messer), the Cannon Song (Der Kanonensong) or Pirate Jenny (Seeräuber-Jenny) were part of the German collective subconsciousness.

Dir wünsche ich eine ruhige Nacht (nicht wie mit mir, als ich mal mit Lungenentzündung im Krankenhaus lag, mit Antibiotika vollgepumpt und dann plötzlich aufgewacht bin, weil ich völlig ausgelaufen war). Beim Übersetzen muss man Abweichungen vom Original in Kauf nehmen - was im englischen Sinn macht, scheint dann im Deutschen eher so ein "ich verstehe nicht" zu werden...OMO

I'm really confused and I don't know what to do, actually I had decided to block the entire instance if they show up here. .
Tbh, I never really had issues with trolls on any social network (no, also not on Twitter), which couldn't be solved by blocking (and reporting, if adequate) the user (or the fediverse instance, if the instance's purpose was simply trolling).
With Threads, I plan to keep it that way.
Should it turn out to be a snakes' nest, I can still block them as a whole in the future.

Hmm. I tend to focus on getting as much walking in as I can, and a bit of faux martial arts.. If you're more inclined towards video games, there are some games that'll help get your cardio in - Dance Dance Revolution is an old standby (if you have an actual dance mat/pad), or Beat Saber seems to be decent if you have a VR rig and enough room.
I've heard good things about actual weight training, but that requires a gym to go to.
