@flexghost When I was in the military there was a person who was got a court marshal and discharge for carrying a combination in his pocket. This was for an area that he was allowed to access, he just had trouble remembering the combination to the lock.

At issue is a nearly 40-yr-old fed law that requires hospitals that receive fed funds to stabilize or transfer all emergency patients, regardless of their ability to pay. Biden admin invoked the Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act to argue that the federal government has the power to penalize hospitals that fail to provide emergency abortions even in states with strict bans.

@GottaLaff @willbunch Let them secede. Remove the military bases and federal funding. Let them guard ALL of their state’s borders, maintain their own roads, fund their own hospitals. Sure they can’t keep their power on, but I’m sure that their wet dream of returning to the 1800’s will work great.
