Righties seem pretty convinced that Jivani’s win is indicative of a shift. It’s not.

It was an off-cycle election for a safe seat. Liberals and NDP didn’t suddenly vote Conservative, they just didn’t vote.

A responsible journalist, if we had any, would point that out. Preferably with voter turnout data.

One of the real ironies of the Israeli allegations is that it’s Israelis who are starting to get cut off from the global financial system as sanctions for extremist violence are put in place.

There is quite literally no evidence that deregulation improves the housing market.

Inflation numbers just came out, rate is down. Grocery inflation also down. Gas prices are dropping.

If this holds for a few quarters that kills 95% of Pierre’s platform, which consists entirely of pointing to climbing rates without any context as to what the rest of the world is doing.

The rest of his platform is complaining about provincial jurisdictions.
