In 2022 SCOTUS ruled 6-3 that public school teachers & other staff can lead students in prayer.

Now Louisiana will require all schools that receive public funding to display the Ten Commandments, including colleges and universities.

If it’s prayer these guys want, if you’re a public school teacher who wants to learn the Islamic call to prayer, i.e. the Adhaan, to teach your students, let me know.🙃

    the argument was that an attack on a border crossing made the closure of that border crossing necessary or at least defensible.

    Since there was no attack on, or particularly close to, the border crossing, it is clear that the closure is a purely retaliatory act, with a clear intent to kill Palestinian civilians by starvation.

    @FrankFrank IDF locating a supply dump for offensive weaponry in the vicinity of a humanitarian crossing is as much a case of “human shields” as Hamas operating in an urban area. (Which is to say, it is not.)

    @RickiTarr when the wal-mart self-checkout asks me to rate my experience I get paranoid that if I give a 5 they’ll use that as a sign to cut staffing but if I rate 4 they’ll give an employee a bad rating. So now I only give a 5 when there’s at least four employees standing around doing nothing.
