If I make it again I'll need to do it in batches or get a bigger (or even "real") blender. I've used an attachment for my immersion blender which isn't that big and also doesn't have the conical shape a lot of blenders seem to have (for better mixing?).
@blinry Here it is after a few hours in the fridge. Size came out to about 12cm diameter and 3cm height.
Texture is mostly a firm mass with very fine chunks. It's brittle when cutting but not when you bite into it.
Taste wise it's what I expected from the ingredients (cashew flavor (mostly at the end), acidity from the lemon and the vinegar, some heat from the extra pepper on the outside).
I'm looking for a specific command-line utility for Linux to do partition and file system manipulation. It's not fdisk.
I remember that it had an option to remove existing filesystem signatures, and you could pass it a desired partition layout as command line arguments, which it would then create.
But I can't remember the name, and it's 2024 so search engines suck.
@scy I know sfdisk can be scripted (and can create scripts from/for existing partition layouts).
Remove signatures with "--wipe auto".
Save a layout with "-d output.filename".
Restore it by feeding the dump as stdin, e.g. "sfdisk /dev/something < output.filename".

@isotopp Das Gerät, das für mich wie ein Crossover aus Telegraf und elektromechanischem Fernschreiber aussieht, und vermutlich einen Drucker darstellen soll ist sogar hinreichend teuflisch, auch wenn man normale Drucker als ;aßstab nimmt.
@ordnung Bei mir Funktioniert die Streaming API immer noch nicht (ich bekomme HTTP 502 in den Developer Tools angezeigt, habe auch vorsichtshalber mal Cache und Cookies geleert was aber leider nicht geholfen hat). Ist das ein Problem auf meiner Seite oder ein allgemeines? Und ist euch zu erwähnen eigentlich ein guter Weg euch solche Probleme mitzuteilen?

@gsuberland Also: Outside foil side on non-polarized capacitors (basically the same thing but you connect that side to ground to get better noise shielding. Was used a lot in old tube radios).
To all you #hardware and #pcb beings on Fedi: Is there something like the DB9-USB-M from FTDI that's:
a) Cheaper (the DB9-USB-M is like 20$ on Mouser/Digikey/Farnell)
b) Doesn't use Mini-USB like something from the mid 2000s?
I've looked around a bit but haven't had any luck so far, as searching for that kind of USB serial converter isn't trivial as all the terms I came up with are overloaded with other stuff.
@jpm It's actually not cursed, at least from a regular connector point of view. It's just a USB<->RS232 converter in the same standard footprint of a PCB mount DE9 socket.
What I want is to just have USB where at the moment I have serial and to, if possible, avoid having an external adapter which would do the job but is an extra part to keep track of and not mix up between devices (I want to use the chip serial number to differentiate multiple devices).

Leider ist die Sabrent RocketQ mit 8TB immer noch genauso teuer wie bisher …
Zum Glück sind die NVMEs so klein, dass man in viele Laptops zwei stecken kann. 2x4TB sind jetzt für knapp über 400 EUR zu haben, wobei ich aus persönlicher Erfahrung von den Crucial P3 eher abraten würde, weil langsam.
@larsmb@fluepke Meine "bange" mit Flash basierten Datenhalten ist irgendwie immer noch die Angst vor der (geringeren) Offline-Haltbarkeit der Daten, die ja mit steigender Integrationsdichte (MLC-Flash) nicht besser wird. Nicht das ich aktiv vor habe die SSDs was-weiß-ich wie lange nicht mit Strom zu versorgen, aber so ein Ding mal eine Weile zu vergessen kann ich mir schon vorstellen.
