Nova Scotia where we confidently boast that nothing is more than 50 km from the sea... decides that the coast does not need protected and people will just do the right thing. Israel - end the occucpation, stop bombing or invading, & let a lot of humanitarian aid in. Ask for hostage release, but not likely until occupation, oppression, inprisonment, killing stops...

Over and over the courts find these laws unconstitutional (BC ONtario, Nova Scotia, Manitoba, that I know of) - they need to really make sure that the workers whose improvements were curtailed and who cannot catch up, are compensated. If it costs enough surely they will stop doing this! Governments across this country just do it over and over... without severe penalty (although they are having to increase pay) No justice, no peace!

Wow! I would hgave expected under 1%. And I thought they were not allowed for so called "unskilled" occupations like servers?? I am not opposed to immigration and refugee claimants - we need them and NO ONe is Illegal! (esp on stolen land) but everyone employed in this country, needs to have rights - this class of people with no rights - of course, exlpoiits them the most, but hurts us all.

Public confidence in the #police X this country is pretty low. Expectations lower. A cop can kick a boy, (18? who weighs 90 pounds, who is on his belly) in the head "like a soccer ball" with both police & civilian witnesses, but it does not meet the level of excessive use of force, & therefore #prosecution ?? NO #racism & no justice here... I mostly don't go for carceral solutions but somehow it doesn't apply to the police!
