This harsh response came as a reaction to three days of violent clashes that left four dead (including a French gendarme) and hundreds wounded. As Politico reported, protests erupted as French lawmakers passed a bill to change the voting system by allowing all citizens residing on the island for more than 10 years to vote in local elections. Fuck me, there are some bad anarchist takes here.

I just read someone talking about how anarchists shouldn't wear masks to hide their identity at protests bc then govts will outlaw mask wearing for everyone and that will effect people masking bc of covid.

We've masked at protests for decades - the reason anti-masking laws are coming into play now is because of facial recognition software being used by governments, and because the chipping away at protest laws that have happened over the last 20 years (looking at you, Australia.. you started it and 5Eyes followed) have gotten to the point where they don't have to pretend it's for "the public good".

You all have to get some better critical analysis skills. I'm begging!

This poor baby had dental surgery today. She had 8 teeth pulled, and the rest of them cleaned.

Because she was a rescue we don't know what her start in life was like.. but our guess is that it was fairly traumatic. I'm fairly sure she was kept in a tiny cage because she runs in tight circles when she's anxious or excited, and I think she was beaten and had little to no food.. so my guess is that her poor dental condition is due to malnutrition as a puppy.

She's doing well, and she's going to feel SO much better now.

Because of climate crisis, polar bears are migrating as their environments are melting.

They're encountering grizzly bears, and the two are mating - creating a polar-grizzly bear hybrid called either a Grolar or a Pizzly bear (depending on which parent is which).

Grolar and Pizzly bears are SUPER aggressive, and Pizzly bears are fertile.

I love this time of year. My neighbours start using their fireplace, and the smell reminds me of visiting my Nanny and Poppy's farm when I was a kid. It was pmuch the only time I felt safe growing up.
