blterrible,

@WhyNotZoidberg But not the plastic door pockets. I guarantee that yours were broken.

I'm ready for a revival. I would not hesitate to purchase an all electric 240. (maybe make it /slightly/ more aerodynamic...)

I really like what is creating in the electric vehicle space.

Ill be in the market for an EV in the next 5 years and Volvo is my current goal.

Volvo vs

maggiemaybe,

@RememberUsAlways I can’t speak for their electric vehicles, but I hope to drive Volvos for the rest of my life.

My last one had 198,000 miles on it when I sold it. I’m not sure it lasted much longer after that, but I hope I get that much useout of my current Volvo.

@maggiemaybe

Nice. It was the choice vehicle for families in the early 80s for safety.

If you have a new , did you know that you likely can run @Vivaldi in your car?

We are available in and as well, but Volvo is the latest brand to get Vivaldi.

More are coming soon!

Things to try:

  1. Watch a live match or some video.
  2. Play an online game.
  3. Edit a document (keyboard is useful for this).
  4. Connect to your remote computer.

There is so much more to do while your car is parked or charging!

As I explained previously, when Nissan (or rather Prince) decided to put a straight-six engine in the early Skyline models, the wheelbase was extended by 200mm forward of the A-pillar. Today, I’m featuring another car that was later extended in a similar way, the four-cylinder Volvo 144, seen here at this year’s Festival of the Unexceptional. I really like the period turquoise paint/whitewall tyre combo. Tomorrow, its six-cylinder sister, the 164.

@davidwilkins Volvo really kept true to their design elements for the longest time.
As for event naming, "Festival of the Unexceptional" really takes the prize.

davidwilkins,
@davidwilkins@mastodon.online avatar

@NeadReport Yes - one feature that had a long life was the strong ‘shoulder’ line on this 144 which also appeared on later cars such as the first S60 and S80.

tylopoda,

I’ve parked next to this beauty several times at the train station and every time I debate leaving a note to ask if they would sell it to me so I can do an electric conversion on it. I had a blue 240 sedan in high school and college and I sure do miss it
