Few remember the National Geographic speculative evolution mini-series "Extraterrestrial – Alien Worlds". Even less remember that it had an official companion book. I'm glad I managed to get my hands on a copy a while ago. It was sold at a temporary exhibit themed after the tv program at the Science Museum London back in 2005.
Watched #AlienRomulus teaser/trailer. It reminded me that what made #Alien (1979) and #Aliens (1986) great were more than just actions and scares, I hope Romulus gets that, and is more than just blood and gore.

Honestly, I'm surprised no one has an interest in aliens. There's more to the universe than just us humans. Having grown up watching STTNG I yearn for the truth. I want aliens to be a part of our world. But I guess I'm alone on this one. Denial is just way to comfortable for some.
Mastodon being as big as it is now, I thought for sure they'd be a niche group into aliens and #UFO, #UAP 🤔
@SavahRellcast I just think that aliens will really be alien and that we may not recognize them at all. They might not perceive us or consider us at all either. Does, for example, a snail in your garden see you for what you are?
The "aliens" in movies are generally very human like. I don't think our first encounter will be that dramatic.
