Mika (void) caught a cold so we had to put out once again the heated blanket. Needless to say, his sister Winnie wanted to sleep with him on her favorite blanket
Here is a video of my #cat eating #melon! His favourite snack. (Link with munching sounds to video, screenshot attached) 😊
Every evening, when I cut myself a slice, I am confronted with him on the kitchen counter. If he still sleeps while I prepare my slice he will mysteriously materialise on the sofa next to me when I start eating 😻
little Buddy liked to spread out. He'd do this in doorways and top of the stairs to keep us sharp, and on our toes.
He didn't know about other cats, or dogs. He'd never met one. He longed to play with the pitbulls next door. He was as big as one, when they were a pup!
He did people things. Travel, socialize with cat haters, smother you like a sack of potatoes. Trapped my wife in bed.
I have so many photos of Buddy, not as good a quality as today, we barely had digital when he was alive.
He spent a great deal of time, living in the space between my keyboard and chair and at one time, with a second cat, you could not tell there was anything computer related on the desk. They covered it entirely
Buddy was a big boy. He was gentle, but heavy. When a tiny palm size feral kitten appeared under my deck with no mommy, we both adopted it. The introduction required separation to protect the tiny kitten. This is where he stayed during that meet phase..
I saw someone here asking how to fix a "quiet" mastodon experience and the suggestion was follow hashtags. So I followed #cats and now my timeline is just cats cats cats cats. I'm not mad about it.

It's 5am #caturday morning at our place. Tux came in for a minute. Not sure how well Chinny liked it.
I still have hopes that Tux will be more of an inside cat in time. But he's a very chatty cat.
Chinny was getting a bit agitated later in the morning running window to window jumping all over the couch and chairs. Apparently there is something of great concern outside. So they're both outside now.
