I was just thinking: is mountain biking the "extreme" / action sport most likely to survive after The Collapse™?
Cities will be too dirty for skateboarding and rollerblading, snowboarding and skiing require both snow and access to high altitudes. Maybe BMX will also have a chance in rubble filled cities?

Am i the only person wondering about these things?

This is our new normal. There is barely enough time to reverse the worst effects of but it will take radical changes to our lifestyles to mitigate .

Those radical changes include switching to cheap and plentiful renewable energy immediately.

Imagine that? Clean air and more money in your pocket. What a shocker.

A plea... let's dustbin the phrases and . They sound sedate. They're distancing, easy to ignore. Even positive. (A less cold, damp spring in Scotland is hard to refuse!)

Instead, let's talk about the end game - we are on the brink of 'climate collapse'. A collapse in existing food production capabilities, starvation, wars over water, deaths through extreme weather.

Let's start bringing home to our communities that our way of life will end.
