Wake up to be given a classy example of how #Labour are determined to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory - the purge of their MPs on the left is not going down well - with any of the public.
Meanwhile the hapless Mark Harper is been left left gormless by #VictoriaDerbyshire on #Tonight when their commitment to the young is pointed out - and that is before Brexit is raised.
So...Keith has lost the Muslim voters and just lost the black voters with his appalling treatment of Diane Abbott and he's seriously overestimating the Scottish branch office chances up here so I suppose he now needs to ramp up the flegshaggers bait?
@JackTheCat He has also lost the vote of people who cannot stomach his attitude to #gaza and cannot hold-their-nose and vote #labour - thats not just muslims
Here is the (two dimensional) political placing of the parties in the forthcoming UK election from Political Compass....
If you thought you didn't have an awful lot of choice, the fact that all major parties are (on this assessment) siting in the blue (Right/Authoritarian) quadrant will confirm that suspicion
@ChrisMayLA6@melanie@PoliceStateUK It really irritates and annoys me to hear London journalists refer to #Labour and the #LibDems as 'centre left'. Objectively, of course, they're nothing of the sort -- but in the perversely distorted context of English politics, there is some (relative) truth to it.
But it's also really sad, from a Scottish context, so see how far right the #SNP are these days.
So Victoria Derbyshire reveals today that disciplinary proceedings against Diane Abbott ended months ago. Consequently Starmer had to come clean that they have no intention of allowing her to stand in the next GE. What a nasty piece of work he is. #Labour#ukpolitics
A disingenuous man tries to tell us that Diane Abbott is both expelled and a part of the Labour Party, in some Schrodinger's state of confusion.
Going to be grand with this guy running the country, isn't it? /s
