We love nature, even one located under a glass roof. This is a huge strelitzia (our favorite houseplant), commonly known as the Bird of Paradise Plant. I took this photo in Amsterdam, at one of the oldest botanical gardens in the world called Hortus Botanicus, which was founded in 1638. 🪴🪴🪴
I said to my #soul, be still, and wait without #hope
For hope would be hope for the wrong thing; wait without #love,
For love would be love of the wrong thing; there is yet #faith
But the faith and the love and the hope are all in the waiting.
Wait without thought, for you are not ready for thought:
So the darkness shall be the #light, and the stillness the #dancing.
Contemporary art met our really old camera. 📷 It's next an analog photo! I took this shot at The Moco Museum in Amsterdam. If you like contemporary art, I highly recommend checking it out and visiting! ☺️

Turns out Reflection & Refraction in a inhomogenuous medium is complicated? Got something working, even in decent speed, but I haven't implemented color yet.
Is there a nice formula for how the refraction index in a certain medium depends on the lights frequency/wavelength?
When the sun came out this rainbow appeared, I guess something to do with the mirror in my room, or bouncing through the window…either way, it was nice to hold a rainbow. #rainbow#photography#light#friday
