Taken with a hand held camera because I wasn't expecting to video, I was there to get snaps of the birds from the bird hide, but they were were just so cute.
My adorable little friend needed babysitting again today. I placed a log in a strategic place as a makeshift baby gate to encourage staying in the ground squirrel corner. How many large green tomatoes a day, exactly, do two young #squirrels eat? I am finding that out this week. #gardening (so far... 6 large green tomatoes this morning).

While checking last night’s photos on the camera found some forgotten ones from March. Not great - zoomed through a dirty window- but this is kind of nice anyway. #squirrels
We have a lot of Eastern Gray #Squirrels around here. The vast majority of them are, well, gray. I've seen a couple over the years that were very light in color, and one with a pure white tail. A few had a reddish tint. But this is the first one I've seen that is solid, jet black.
#Diversity makes everything more interesting, doesn't it.
Strongly considering collecting seeds and planting these around trees as revenge on squirrels for digging up seedlings and stealing fruit. 😈… 🐿️🐿️🐿️😱☠️
