When you take the lyrics "would he devote that Sacred Head for such a worm as I?" into your very core as a 5-year-old, it takes A LOT to get shut of that unsightly baggage as an adult.
Even "Amazing Grace": "...how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me...."
Really? I was a child. A baby.
A wretch?
Reprobate & miscreant are some of the synonyms. I was to learn those as well.
None of this is to excuse how they go about being in this world.
None of this is to excuse how I sometimes still go about being in this world. None of this is to excuse my regressions, my poor word choices, my questionable thought patterns.
But it does explain.
None of us can do more than what we have the #tools to do at any given time. When we acquire more and better tools, hopefully we will take more beneficial #actions.
With the inputs of GitHub actions, if you bind it the checkout action, your manual triggers could be as flexible as you want.
Example is to show how flexible this can be. In the image, I can use the workflow chore/branch, and deploy the codes in the main branch to the staging env.
Nice to see a couple of new #actions in the 17.4 #iOSBeta version of the #ShortcutsApp. The “Get Orientation” one is particularly welcomed, as previous native workarounds for detecting the device orientation in a #shortcut stopped working in #iOS17. While there are 3rd party apps with additional #shortcuts actions, they often fly under the radar for most users.
The Idaho Stop at stop signs is now legal in Minnesota. It went into effect yesterday.
"A bicycle operator who approaches a stop sign must slow to a speed that allows for stopping before entering the intersection or the nearest crosswalk. Notwithstanding subdivision 1 and section 169.06, subdivision 4, if there is not a vehicle in the vicinity, the operator may make a turn or proceed through the intersection without stopping."
#Forgejo 1.20 is released. While we are porting some Codeberg changes and testing the migration, you can already experience the full potential at https://next.forgejo.org - hosted on Codeberg's infrastructure.
Join with your Codeberg account, let your team test-drive the new features, and report the problems you find before other #Codeberg usres experience them.
I like the layouts and spacings in the next @forgejo release. Hope it will land on @Codeberg without trouble, hehe.
Excited for upcoming #Actions - although, I think internal #CI could be called better than another #GitHub's thingabob. Oh, well, that's the price of marketing - gotta reuse something that people know full well.
Come to think of it, a lot of things this release brings are the best from GitHub. I don't mind this growth, because it will allow more people join the migration to #Codeberg and #Forgejo instances.
Anyone doing #github#actions - does anyone know a way to do dynamic environment variables, at the job level - based on a folder in a #monorepo?
I need to build container images and frontend apps, and pass to them different API paths and keys. At the moment every time an app is added, the secrets and vars need to get added to be passed down into the actions.
