Ciekawy temat, bo mimo tego, że jest tu zaledwie 5 osób (hehe) to jego lwia część ma podobne zainteresowania (technologie i inne techniczne tematy), choć różne poglądy

Asi se shodneme na tom, že @programydovoleb dělaj výbornou záslužnou práci a protože Fediverse a #Mastodon nemaj žádnou rozumnou metriku, jak měřit zájem, napadl mě takovej experiment 😀
Za květen dostaly @programydovoleb na příspěvkáh od dárců 770 Kč. Od všech dárců a zde přijde ta vtipná část - uděláme první českej #crowdfunding tady na #Fedi!

Cíl?
Cílem je trumfnout výběr za květen jenom příspěvky z Fediverse. Dáme to, když 30 Kč pošle 26 lidí. Je tu 26 lidí, co má rádo programy do voleb? 😀
Update: Protože jsou tady na Fedi všichni bohatý anebo maj drahý tramvajenky, částka se díky nim vybrala téměř hned. Tohle ale není o penězích - tohle je sčítání lidu! Měním tedy z boží a Janovo vůle cíl - chci vytlačit všechny ty normální lidi s jejich fejsbukama a twitterama někam tak deset stránek za nás, občany Fediverse. Každá stránka je deset lidí. Chci vás tam vidět všechny!

I figure if I see a post with hashtags, the poster is looking for wider reach and it's safe to boost. If I don't see any hashtags I try not to boost. I know there are follower's-only posts and yet this still feels polite. If you catch me boost/unboosting your post that's probably why. #Fedi#Etiquette#Fediquette

A friendly remind, that the Fediverse, is not managed by a wealthy organization or business, funded with corporate sponsorship, paid ads, or subscriptions. The Fediverse is a group of Fedi Instances (servers), managed voluntarily, but regular people, who like yourself, wanted a better social media experience.
Your administrator pays for real servers, with real-world cost, such as storage and bandwidth. The more users, the more storage and bandwidth, the more the cost.

I have a question about BlueSky :blobfoxthinkgoogly:
So the point of BlueSky is to try to simulate a centralized social media platform with decentralized hardware, right? So, like, what's the incentive to hosting your own BlueSky servers? I can see having a single-user repository for your own data, but there's no reason to host anyone else's personal data, right? :confused_dog:
With Mastodon, the incentive to host a server comes from the fact that servers are smaller, tighter-knit communities, so hosting your server comes with building a community. What's the incentive on BlueSky?

First of all I moved from my mother country Uganda because I was facing a lot of problems. They even wanted to slaughter me like a goat because am a lesbian 🌈 and for me I was not ready to change what i am. Our president don't accept lesbians nor gays in our country Uganda. My mother and my sister they were both killed in the house by the community people coz they thought that I was inside the house. A lesbian in Uganda is taken as a satan right now. I had no one to give me any help and I decided to come In Kenya. I look for asylum. People in our country are still looking for me though I thought that I will be safe in Kenya. The situation right now is not good.
Ich bin ja eigtl. ziemlich zufrieden instanzmäßig mit Sharkey. Mein Zufriedenheitslevel liegt bei etwa 80 % diesbezüglich. Wer mich kennt weiß, dass das schon extrem gut bewertet ist. In den letzten zwei Wochen habe ich mich noch mal genauer umgeschaut bez. #Sharkey, #Iceshrimp & #Firefish. Dazu habe ich ja auf meinem Backup Account auch kürzlich eine Umfrage gestartet. Die ist zwar noch nicht zuende, zeigt aber jetzt schon wie die Sachlage ausschaut.

Da die ganze misskey Basis 'nen ziemliches Chaos ist, arbeiten sie aktuell sogar an einem kompletten rewrite und kommen wirklich gut voran. Ist noch etwas Arbeit, ins besonders im Frontend, aber ich bin zuversichtlich, dass wir bis zum Ende des Jahres 'nen ordentliches release haben werden.
Das fand ich schon sehr spannend und ich freue mich auf den Tag wenn da ein Release kommen wird.
Und da mein erster und einziger Test von #Friendica schon sehr lange her ist, möchte ich mir das auch noch mal genauer anschauen.
Ich werde 100 %ig bis Jahresende weiter mit Sharkey fahren bzw. bis zum Release des "neuen" Misskey. Dann werde ich neu bewerten und schauen ob es FÜR MICH noch besser geht als mit Sharkey. Vielleicht legt ja bis dahin einer der anderen Kandidaten noch mächtig zu oder es kommt ein neuer großartiger Player mit ins Spiel. Jedenfalls wird dann eine Entscheidung fallen zwischen Sharkey, Misskey oder Friendica (?) wenn nichts ungeplantes passiert.
Mastodon wird nicht mehr in Betracht gezogen. Das liegt mittlerweile BEI MIR weit abgeschlagen ganz hinten weil zu viele Beschneidungen und fehlende Features. Ich betone extra "FÜR MICH" weil ich das nicht für alle schlecht reden will. Wenn 1 damit zufrieden ist, voll ok. Mir gefällts nicht mehr. Ich sage immer, mit Mastodon kann man im Fedi mitmischen. Mit z.B. Sharkey wird das Erlebnis #Fedi dann einfach FANCY :headbanging:
So #Plex has a "sonic adventure" feature that lets you put in two or more songs then it fills in a playlist which selects tracks of sonically similar values leading from song to song until you reach the target using tracks from your collection.

I would not have created this playlist on my own.
Also it is fun to see #fedi artists pop up in playlists based on sonic thumbprint.
