The ability to create is a gift given to us as human beings. With our hands, hearts, minds, and skill we are able to fabricate and bring forth things of beauty and goodness . . . or, things that are not. We do well when we determine to use our creativity for good, and refuse to employ it for evil.
Many creative projects demand that we give them time and attention. And why not? When we're doing something that interests us, why rush through it? The very act of creating provides as much satisfaction as the finished product.
May the artwork take both you and the person to whom you send the card to a place of simplicity and joy, where life does not have to be convoluted and fearful, but normal and healthy and . . . good.
Each one of my #LimitedEdition#Handmade#Human illustrated #Bitcoin#GreetingCard sets will be numbered with a nostr note ID and stamped with my seal.
Note IDs are long, but inmutable, searchable, & recorded #forever in the nostr protocol, so the note ID will be included on the box (for a set), or in a separate tag inside the card (for individual cards).
I will be limiting sets to 21 sets of 12 cards.
Hence the need to number and record them for posterity in #Nostr.
I will also limit individual cards, but I'm unsure to how many.
Why limited edition:
Because they do take time to make. I do invest energy, time, love, creativity in making them. I also want to remain creative. Limiting the output will force me to innovate and continue designing different ones, keeping me challenged and getting my brain juices flowing.
Where will they be available?
Plebeian.market when I open my stall. I will have information about my cards on my website as well, but primarily for informative purposes. isabelsydow.art
Will you accept Fiat?
I don't think so. The truth? It will depend on your constraints & the situation. I will work with you, but I honestly am trying to contribute to the bringing of a Bitcoin #economy & I don't want us to perpetuate the eternal #violence of #fiat.
So delicate, so detailed and exquisite -- I know some people call the purple bearded iris "common," but to me, there is nothing common about a flower so elegantly formed.
I love the way the iris stands in its space -- tall, firm, confident, with a strength that belies its fragility.
