Any nerds out there know whether it’s possible to find an adapter to replace this tiny drive with something more useful?

I’m pondering this tiny Dell PC as a home server, but it only has USB 2. So I’m wondering whether I could run an adapter cable to a socket outside the case into which I can plug something with a usable capacity.

As far as I can tell it’s a 44 pin IDE DOM, but not much appears to work with it.

People like to say how it's so expensive to make video games today.

What makes it expensive?

Is it the high end hardware.

is it the fact that game devs like to make games 100gb+?

is it because voice actors want more money?

whatever it is, is it possible to get a good modern game that's atleast under 50 gb, that takes advantage of all the modern visual effects and graphic capabilities but not be so demanding and expensive making them?

It's funny because the newest call of duty is so big it had to be split up.

I want to try to connect a SCSI Hard Drive to an AKAI Professional DSP 16.

Here are the connectors (photos). What kind of specific SCSI cable do I need? How to do it? I'm really not an SCSI expert. I'm a little confused..

  • AKAI: x 1, High-pitch 50-pin for external Harddisk connection
  • Hard Drive: HP 73 GB Wide ULTRA 320 SCSI - 80 PIN

Thanks so much! :0)

Predicting World Events That Will Happen Before Metroid Prime 4 Releases (hard-drive.net)

As humanity continues to live underground, nature begins to heal itself. The surface becomes more habitable and the humans decide it’s time to rebuild. If there's any one game that will be the death of my hard drive, it's Icarus. Terrible. ☠️

My that I just got came loaded with a software installer. A) How worthwhile is it to install that, and b) How is their software?

Ah, let's pop the hood on this and see if we can fix something ;-)

Ooof. it seems like on my new Debian machine (CHONK! CHONK! KERCHONK!). I guess I'm re-doing that install on the other hard drive. (no data loss, probably).

Last chance saloon for an external drive that got messed up. Wiping it is going to be less troublesome than recovering it.
