I made a pendent today from a VGA part thing.

Just used some pliers, some files and sandpaper to smooth out the edges.

My partner just finished making themselves a bag for their tarot deck. It came out so well that they’d like to make some more for others. Asking price would be $10 including shipping within the US. (We’d have to look up prices for outside the US but are willing to ship internationally.) The measurements on the bag are 5.5 in x 8.5 in. In the photos you can see their Dreaming Cat Tarot which is 2.5 in x 4.5 in but I was able to fit my Murder of Crows Tarot in its box which is 3.5 in x 5 in x 2.2 in thick. It’s a double lined bag with a drawstring closure. We’ve got lots of fabric in different colors so you get to choose your inner and outer colors. They made it for their tarot but you can use it for other things, too. Crystals, runes, dice, you name it! All materials are upcycled leftover craft supplies that we’re trying to use up. DM me for orders and color samples.

I made this today. I had this old canvas art that was ripped so I removed it leaving only the wooden frame.

I had some old jeans which alas I could not mend and so I cut it up into into strips... or rather in the panels that were used to make the jeans.

I stretched the jeans over the frame and attached them using thumb tacks... Kinda like wrapping paper.

Done two before, how does it look?

Before I give these to my local climate shop:

Would anyone like a (or several) strange pin badge made from the illustrations from an early 1900s encyclopedia?

Broad themes:

and machinery
Saving people from drowning (?!)

I'll ship worldwide to good homes in exchange for shipping costs.

Made another necklace (left). It is a component from a cheap digital weighting scale that died. The previous one I did was a was a component off a plug. Got loads of these things so I may sell them cheap someplace.

I made this wall art/canvas thing a few years ago. I made it from an old pair of jeans and a wooden frame I scavaged from a discarded canvas picture thing.

I basically just cut up the jeans and pinned it to one side stretched it across and secured it the other side.

How'd it look? I might make another soon.

Here are some earrings I made for my mum for Christmas.

I made them from tiny laptop screw hole-y components.

How'd they look? I am thinking of making more earrings to sell from old computer systems and laptop components etc. to sell them on my ebay soon.

windows just deprecated windows mixed reality. thousands of headsets are going to become bricked. open source drivers (monado) do not fully support WMR. they are still selling WMR headsets like the Reverb G2. there is no refund policy. the only way to use WMR is to never upgrade your windows install. fuck microsoft.

A plug extension got busted. So I took it apart. I can make cool upcycled pendents from the parts.

Just needed a lace and a jumper ring.

Actually think it looks good.

Want for a walk around the neighborhood, found some discarded, trimmed Christmas tree branches on the sidewalk, so I made a wreath. It will do. Now my hands smell good. lol 🤗🌿💚✨

I usually make it with lavender trimmings from my flowerbed before I cover the plant to protect from the snow. All recycled materials.

On the grey linoleum tile floor, there are a round, metal wire-frame wrapped tightly in red ribbon, red twist ties, the found fresh fir branches, and the pruner. Getting ready to make the wreath.

This is a magnetic noticeboard I made a few months ago. Made from an computer side panel and some picture wire. It was super easy to do.

It is the only thing left of my first PC so making it into something was kinda neat.

So easy and it's super useful, why don't more people do this with old PCs?

Finished this one today! Most of this is . The red oak neck is dovetailed to the body, which used to be a chair in my parents' house. The head came from the foot of their table. Ironic!

Walnut and sycamore inlay, wenge fretboard and knobs. I designed and 3d printed the pickups. Magnets are from an old toy, wound by an winder I designed. The steel "wings"/pickup mounts were cut from an old PC case. The steel on the head was a spare IKEA part.

Made a short skirt from some left over material from the last (much longer) skirt i did. Unlike the last one I did this doesn't have any tassles to tie it, it has belt loops instead. Made from quilt cover fabric.

Too cold to wear out anywhere :(

I'm in Thailand working on product development for my , Morph. (morphbags.com) Here's the latest, a yoga mat tote made from nylon banner manufacturing waste. (Everything we make is from waste.)
It's comfy, holds a lot and has pockets inside to keep things organized, and it's easy to stow and remove your yoga mat.

If you have any feedback, thoughts are welcome and RTs are wildly appreciated! :)

I made a long skirt from a second hand quilt cover.

It is a wrap around design and was pretty easy to make. Only took a few hours working from no instructions.
