Hawthorn, flowers just opening. We planted this in 2019. For rapid capture scrub outperforms though in a 15-30 year timescale the trees will take over. The trees will also do better with the hedge for cover. As well as being full of buds this hedge is full of , biodiversity and carbon capture hand in hand.

The hedgerow Hawthorn is in full flower right now, with so many bees visiting it gives hope that they are in recovery

The world's tallest and longest hedge, the Meikleour Beech Hedge runs alongside and towers over the A93 a few miles south of Blairgowrie in Perthshire.
