About a year and a half ago, I set myself the challenge of trying to post a new photo here every day. I've missed a few days, but not many, and it seems that this is now my 500th posting.
This is from the same batch as yesterday's offering, which means it was taken 50 years ago on a beach in the Aegean. I think it feels kind of timeless though...
New in the gallery, a photographic piece 'Veale Heron Silhouette at Sunrise'. "Hera" is a white-faced heron who visits #VealeGardens in #Adelaide each day, usually staying for a few months, flying off for a few months, then returning for a few months, and has done this for the last eight years or so :)

"Hands Across the Divide" is a sculpture in Derry, Northern Ireland. The statue was created by Maurice Hatton, and erected in 1992. It symbolizes reconciliation between both sides of the political divide during the so called "Troubles" in NI.
(I already posted this photo here about a year ago).
I was at a park observatory taking photos of this window silhouette when one of the other park goers pups got curious and made the photo so much more interesting!
