This is absolutely outrageous😡. You can argue the safety case for operating #nuclearpower but what is undeniable is despite the #UK having had commercial nuclear since 1956, not one gram of the incredibly lethal waste has been placed in a safe repository. The technical challenges of safe storage are immense, the political challenges even bigger. No community will ever agree.
