Fellow Canadians, did you know there's a movement to boycott Loblaws for the month of May to protest their profiteering?

"Deadly crash highlights risks of police chases.."

Four people died b/c of a robbery. Profit over people! In this day with modern tech there is no reason for a chase!!

Doug Ford's response:
"...his government is working to better equip police services, which includes the purchase of four new police helicopters."

He recently lowered the education requirement for new police officers. How is that improving police services?!

He is not going to call upon Provincial police.

Reminder: The Loblaws boycott is underway until May 31st.

Please do not shop at Loblaws or any of its many subsidiaries. Support your local grocery stores where possible, and use non-Loblaws owned chains when local options are not practical or available.

Treat yourself to an ice-cold beer 🍻 or a giant glass of your favourite red wine 🍷 for taking part.

Full list of Loblaws subsidiaries here:

@grivettcarnac Liberall voters and NDP voters who don't vote strategically to defeat a Conservative are the ones with "zero fucking clue."
Liberal or NDP voters who don't vote strategically under First Past the Post voting system just gives the Doug Ford candidate a free ride into the legislature. Progressive voters, if you can't take the time to find out which Liberal or NDP candidate has the best chance of winning, and vote for that candidate, then please don't vote at all.

Meanwhile, in Canada, police will be investigating whether police pigheadedness led to deaths on Canada’s busiest highway.

It will be a nuanced report, you may be assured. With dash of excuse and a pinch of exoneration.

Wait for it (do not hold breath).
