It's sad that some of us still believe that locally made products should not cost as much as global brands.
I'm willing to pay extra if the piece is superbly crafted, especially if it means being able to help local artisans eke out a living by supporting local brands.

It was a rough day, hard to concentrate... I took a long walk and got a #coffee from a #Starbucks. Normally I try to #supportlocal coffee shops but the one I stopped at first had a dozen maskless people packed into a tiny space.
The Starbucks had a barista in a stylish black N95, was more spacious, and left me wondering if this is the shape of things to come for the disorganized Left. The more small indie businesses refuse to address #IAQ, the faster big businesses will crush them 😒

I remember going to this trade show when I was still working at a home magazine. I'd always leave the venue in awe of Pinoy creativity and craftsmanship.
The only downside? I'd always wish I had a bigger house (and lots of moolah) so I can bring home one or two of the exquisite furniture pieces. The fashion accessories are also superb and are more accessible/affordable, haha!

I was going for 10 layers because I saw someone do it (challenge accepted!). But I need more practice (read: more lattes to make and drink) and probably a wider cup too. 😂
