So I'm not saying my Gisa and Geralf #MTG#Commander deck is an aggro deck, but it did get my opponent to 5 on only 3 lands.
(Note that my commander and most of the deck is 4+ mana)
Turns out, Gravecrawler, Diregraf Colossus, and Corpse Blockade are very good friends.
(Ignore the fact that my opponent played no relevant spells for the first 5 turns of the game).
New episode! This week we're digging up Mort the Dead Teenager, one of the strangest comics Marvel ever put out in the 1990s. Joining us to talk about the book is zombie expert and comic creator Will Robson!
These are my most played with monsters for RPGs, but never got painted. They're Reaper Bones, the white material, and cleaning them up sucked! I ended up slicing as much of the mold lines as I could, then I covered the rest with some thick layers of primer. I took this opportunity to try some speed painting techniques. I used contrast paints (xpress) and oils, but also traditional acrilycs as a final step. Despite my frustrations with the material, I'm very happy with the result (for the time it took) so I think I might try to replicate this process on some other appropriate models (plague bearers??)
I don't have any specifically Easter-themed music, but... #Jesus was apparently some kind of zombie; probably a lich (zombies that can do magic). So I suppose "The Inevitable Zombie Apocalypse" is a good themed tune for today. Have a listen and see if it doesn't put you in the #Easter spirit!
Currently listening to the below and I'm wondering have we reached the end of zombies. Can there be anything new or are we just recirculating the same group dynamics in different places?
David Moody's Autumn series was different in the first book because of the way the bodies changed. It lended some eeriness that people walked around, feeling like rapture had happened for several days, then slowly, zombie automation started.
Then The Last of Us with a fungi virus was different.
But have zombies reached the end? Is there anything new?
I did actually do a little painting in December I just need to remember to get some pictures of everything. Sorting out my desk so got a quick picture of these Zombies. 20 more to go, super fast slapchop painting I may improve on later. Got 20 survivors to paint up too at some point. #zombies#minipainting
#TBT 1979. Nothing like coming back to your old high school a few years after graduation and kicking ass in a rock band. Our cover of #Santana's cover of the great #Zombies tune She's Not There.
